GREAT AND MIGHTY THINGS

God's fate for me is so great
If I'm not elate I'm not thinking straight
And sometimes my mind's not in line
But if I renew it then Satan can't use it
He promises great things also
His just turn out false though
I won't allow how things look right now
To get me down it'll turn around
My circumstance won't get to me I won't let it
God is good so everything's copacetic
Sometimes I mope but there's always hope
God said don't fear so I won't
I read his word cause I need his word
I cleanse my ways by taking heed to his word
When life seems to be absurd
I encourage myself when I speak his word

He'll make me what I'm meant to be

God knew me before I was formed

I need to see things the way he sees them

I can't stand this pain and strife
Why does God allow these things in life
I can't find out the reason why
By looking at the trees and sky
His ways are past finding out
His thoughts to me I don't bother trying to count

I must trust that he judges righteously
